What animals eat skunks?

Skunk is well-known and most unwanted pests due to their specific bad odor. Their urine and poop have a bad odor, which is unable to bear this is the reason people kill them to get rid as soon as possible.  But if a Skunk has found to be in your house, then after removing them does not forget to eliminate the odor by use of water and bleach solution; otherwise, living with the Skunk odor can cause any infectious disease. 

Habitat of Skunk
This specie belongs to America, especially in the united state, in some areas of Canada and in Mexico too. They have the power to live in cold and hot areas because they lived in the nest and covered places and know how to survive in any weather condition.  They live in open habitat, so they have many predators living in the same habitat. PreyingonaSkunk is not easy for them because of their self-defense nature, and they fight till the end just to save their life.  Skunk has black and white skin; that's why they are easy to recognize, and predators can keep a look at them from a long distance. Some animals need just one chance to encounter them; others may take time due to their self-defense power. Although the Skunk tries to hide them in the bushes, their white coat becomes a cause of their death. 

Skunk predators 
There are many species that can prey onSkunk, but it is difficult to provide an exact number. Some ground predators that can prey on Skunk are:

Red fox
As theSkunk has white and black skin so they can recognize them from a long distance and can prey on them very easily. They can eat both young and adult Skunk. 

Other ground predators
Cougars also include in the Skunk predators list. Other ground animals that can prey on Skunk are dogs, coyotes, and domestic dogs. Although these animals do not usually like to prey on them, they will deficiently eat them if they have limited options. The other animals that are not included in the list can prey on them whenever they got the chance. 



Ariel predators
Although Skunk is considered as the powerful prey that fights and tries to defend themself, their power did not help them when it comes to the Ariel predators. Red-tailed hawks and owl are famous to target v from a long distance. There are some other birds that can find them due to their specific odor, while the rest of birds stay at a difference due to their odor. 

Human
Although they live in the open habitat, if they get into the urban areas, they would like to live in your garden or in the dark or covered places. The human can find them easily due to their odor, and as a result, they will try to get rid of them by using a specific trap or any chemical poison.
